Landmarks to see on foot
- Laxman Jhula – The famous suspension bridge over the Ganga at the north end of Rishikesh, next to Tapovan and the Laxman Jhula market. The Bajrang Setu glass bridge stands close by.
- Ram Jhula – A second suspension footbridge downstream, joining Muni Ki Reti with the ashrams of Swarg Ashram.
- Triveni Ghat aarti – The main bathing ghat in Rishikesh town, where the Ganga Aarti is performed every evening with lamps, bells and chanting.
- Beatles Ashram (Chaurasi Kutia) – Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s former ashram near Swarg Ashram, where the Beatles stayed in 1968; today its meditation domes are covered in murals.

What is the best time to visit Rishikesh?
For river trips, October–November and March–May are the best months: the rafting season runs roughly late September to 30 June, and in the monsoon roads can be affected by landslides.
How many days do I need in Rishikesh?
Each of our tours, rafting runs and pottery classes fits within a single day, so plan one day for each trip you want to join, plus time to walk Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula and the evening aarti.
When is the rafting season?
Roughly late September to 30 June. Rafting can pause for a day or two after heavy rain.
